Out of the comfort zone

Okay so I wasn’t going to say anything until I had a legit flyer/advertisement with the information  but…drum roll..I will be selling my crystal goods at Natures Treasures Jewelry Bizarre at the end of the month! Wooooop! I’ll make sure to remind y’all when the time gets closer.

The picture on the left hand side here is me starting to chain up my necklaces, so I’m not waiting till the last min. The best thing to happen to anyone being productive and on a roll is running  out of chain. Oh my!! This is how much I have done…did I mention I have about over 80 necklaces to chain!  I always told myself that I would do vendor booth when I had the inventory. No time is better than now! Why yes this is will be my first vendor booth ever! Am I nervous? Extremely!  Sometimes you just have to jump in the water! My goal is to get out of my comfort zone. Thus, I only sell my jewelry online currently. I keep imagining all the possibilities and opportunities!

This March will be the 2nd year that Lustrous Love Jewelry has been up and running. Honestly, I’m super proud of how long I came. My soldering skills have improved SOOOOOO MUCHHHHH! This is no joke y’all! If I could show you some of the things I did when I first started you would probably laugh!  What amazes me the most is the wonderful people who believe in me and support what I do. =) ❤

What also amazes me is the wonderful feedback from my customers. Never in a million years would I think my jewelry would impact somebody life in any way. Yes I said impact. Why? Because crystals have a wonderful magical feeling to them. They are beautiful and unique, no crystals are the same just like everybody in this world. Each crystal you buy has a meaning or purpose and how It came into your life. I could probably tell you exactly where my favorite crystals came from (purchase wise ;).  Of course hey have metaphysical properties and healing properties.

Yes I believe in crystal healing. ::Insert weird face here::: Some people look at me crazy when they find that out. I don’t tell many people. But since this is my blog this is the perfect spot to be me. If you ask me a certain thing on crystals such as …what does it do!!?! I’d probably give you a short response. I can give the main purpose but honestly there are so many I never memorize each and every purpose. Thus, I use a crystal dictionary. When in doubt research it.

Something so beautiful made by the earth amazes me. Yes I know…some crystals are not all made from earth and are man-made..like aura crystals. I could care less because I super-duper love aura crystals! They are so beautiful to look at! If a man-made crystals makes people happy then let them be! Nothing wrong with putting man-made happiness into someones life. That sounds odd reading it out loud..but you get it (at least I hope so).

Happiness, love, joy, creative and peaceful. There are so many other words I can use to express how crystals make me feel. ❤ ❤

If you think its odd …well deal with it!

You know It’s so crazy how I try to just log on and do a little blog and it all just flows out of me. This was most certainly not a rant. I guess I just wanted to post about my new adventure at the end of the month and my passion for crystals!

If you have any questions regarding any crystals or curious about anything feel free to contact me by clicking the contact button above! ^^^^

Egg Plants are Purple

Tonight for dinner I made egg-plant fries and a mean veggie burger!

I didn’t know egg plants were purple until I purchased my first one ever a few days ago! Crazy. I know.  I took some pictures well because we all know I’m such a great photographer. Not.

I’m not sure what made me want to cook this perhaps I saw it off of Dr. Oz or a link online. No way would I ever eat egg-plant by itself , does anyone? If so why and do you always have to cook it before you eat it? It’s pretty bland by itself uncooked. Even my dog would not eat it!

My first major task was cutting the egg-plant, well because the directions made a big deal about this. Heck if i know why.

Step 1: Slice Evenly!

Step 2: More Slicing..Evenly!

Step 3: Dunk your egg-plant slices into the scrambled egg yolks, then into your bread crumbs..season with whatever fancy’s your taste buds.;)

Step 4: Put on your non stick pan. I forgot that part. But we still made it. Cook at 425 degrees  for 15 min. Flip every 5 min.

No step here, this is what my fries went with. Super delish!!

TAAADAAAAA! The egg-plant soaked up the egg yolks very easily! Am I the only one who finds it weird to make a meal that has two ingredients with the word egg in it? The burger was super legit! Daniel gave it a ten and was super stuffed! Can I convince him to not eat meat anymore?…..DOUBT IT. haha!

Enough about dinner.

Many great things are going on this month! Will be told hopefully in a few days. It’s something new for me. And if It’s exciting to me then its news to be share! I have also somethings in the works with my blog, so I cannot wait to post about that.

The other day I was asked to hold an intentions ritual at my home for this coming Saturday! Of course I accepted.  I will be documenting this with photos of course so I can blog about it. On that note, If you’re not too sure what this is all about is make sure to check back here on Sunday to read all about it!

My polymer clay necklaces are done cooling off…time to go check out these bad boys. Photos to perhaps follow. TA-TA!

xoxo,

Candice
